Kate Oliver, CMT & AA. - Is a California Certified Massage Therapist (CMT), with an Associates of Arts in Anthropology. Encouraged by her mother’s experience as a massage therapist, she completed her basic training in 1998. The program incorporated over 1,000 hours of training, including: Swedish, Deep Tissue, Neuromuscular Therapy, Anma (Traditional Japanese massage - source of modern Shiatsu).
Over the years she has continued to study additional modalities that range from the subtle and nurturing, to the penetrative and invigorating, such as CranioSacral Therapy and Structural Integration (akin to Rolfing).
After 20 years of practicing in Los Angeles, Kate and her husband relocated to Petaluma, CA., to start anew in a cooler, and more rural setting. With new inspiration, she is building her Bay Area practice with an emphasis on pairing: Clinical focus - to effectively & efficiently produce greater long term results with clients, and Energy movement - to support client's in a more holistic connection to their health & wellness.
